Troubleshoot: Gmail vs. PP Spam Detection

Gmail spam engines marked this email as spam.

Report not spam will work, and similar emails won't be sent to your spam folder.


 

  1. If you see the following banner in your junk folder, it means that

Perception Point Spam engines marked this email as spam. 

Report "Not spam" will not work for similar future emails-- Emails from this sender will be sent to the Spam folder. 

In this case, you have two options:

  1. Spam allow list the sender from our system (Settings>Detection> Sender Email Address Whitelist (it also works with domains, e.g:

example.com).

2. Allow list the sender via Google GUI:

This way, Google will bypass our spam detection and never send this email address to Spam.
