Switching from Microsoft 365 API scanning to Microsoft 365 Inline scanning
Note: When you switch from Microsoft 365 API scanning to Microsoft 365 Inline scanning, scanning history will be maintained. |
Perform the 2-step procedure below to switch from a Microsoft 365 API integration to a Microsoft 365 Inline integration.
- Deactivate the Microsoft 365 API integration
- In the Perception Point X-Ray banner, use the organization selector to select the required organization.
- In the left navigation menu, select Account > Channels.
- Under Enabled Channels, locate Email Service > Microsoft 365, and then click Deactivate on the right.
- Refresh the page (Press Ctrl+F5).
- Perform the full Microsoft 365 Inline onboarding process

Switching from Microsoft 365 Inline scanning to Microsoft 365 API scanning

Perform the 3-step procedure below to switch from a Microsoft 365 Inline integration to a Microsoft 365 API integration.
- Perform the full Microsoft 365 inline off-boarding process
- Off-boarding Microsoft 365 [Inline]
- Delete verified domains
- Contact Perception Point Support [support@perception-point.io]. They will delete the verified domains.
Important: Before you request Perception Point Support [support@perception-point.io] to delete a verified domain, make sure that you have removed all rules that route traffic to Perception Point. |

Switching from Microsoft 365 scanning to Google Workspace scanning
Note: When you switch from Microsoft 365 scanning to Google Workspace scanning, scanning history will be maintained. |
Perform the procedure below to switch from a Microsoft 365 integration [inline or API] to a Google Workspace integration.

Note: When you switch from MX scanning to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace scanning, scanning history will be maintained. |
Perform the procedure below to switch from an MX integration to a Microsoft 365 or a Google Workspace integration.
1 | Off-board the MX integration Follow this procedure: "Off-boarding "Other" integrations" |
2 | Contact Perception Point Support [support@perception-point.io]. Request that Perception Point Support remove your domain from the server. |
3 | On-board the required integration
